About Mai

In his book Outliers: The Stories of Success, Malcolm Gladwell examines the factors that contribute to high levels of success. According to Malcolm, an outlier is one who has had a series of rightful events to help them become the success that they are. The key ingredients include: being born in the right time of history, experienced the right experiences that helped shaped the individual, had key people supporting them in their lives, had put in at least 10 years or 10,000+ hours of practice, and are committed to success and to serve.

By Gladwell’s definition, I am an outlier coach. I have been an executive and leadership coach for over 12 years, have put in more than 10,000 hours to fine tune myself as a coach/leader/entrepreneur, and have participated in training and certifying over 1000 coaches world wide.

I have been blessed to have the right people: mentors, teachers, friends, and colleagues to support and grow me. My affiliation to the Coaches Training Institute as their student, and then becoming their senior trainer over the last 10 years have been immensely valuable.
