Testimonials

Mai was referred to us by a deeply respected colleague at the Coaches Training Institute. The minute we met her, we were taken by her enthusiasm and insight. Mai's combination of gentle inquiry, incisive discernment and wild playfulness were right on the ball. We knew we had found the one! Our students in the OneTaste Certified Coach Training Program haven't stopped talking about the day they spent with her. Jumping into an already moving program, Mai guided the room with confidence and grace. Through personal stories, impressive professional experience and intuitive response in the moment she landed every teaching point and ignited our students on the path to their highest goals. Mai is the real deal! We are excitedly anticipating our next opportunity to work with this incredible woman.

I had to share this unsolicited testimonial from a woman that I only met over the phone twice.  She was in a bad shape financially and emotionally.  She needed some loving, encouragement, and refocus on what was possible for her.  Here is what Janine wrote a couple of weeks after our coaching session.

"Dearest Mai,
I waited to return to the states to write you a gratitude by hand, but I only saw an e-mail contact.

Our conversation was the undisputed most powerful life coaching session I have ever had. You pushed my buttons, aroused me, challenged and stunned me into a whole new awareness. I had to get intimate with myself -and quick!

I am still digesting the wealth of information and mystical instinct that you summoned up in that timeless half hour.  Thank you for your time and generosity to me."  June 22, 2010

Two weeks after that, I got this follow up email from her...

"Dearest Mai,
I hope all is well and that you are receiving all you desire. If you recall during our short call, you suggested that i stand in my gifts, stop whining, and write what I know. I reluctantly bought a new notebook and set out to write everytime I was playing the victim.

I came to New York City and was asked to deliver a piece I had written to an audience of 400 women. Dr. Christianne Northrup then approached me to tell me she was submitting yet another piece I had written to Oprah Winfrey herself. Then I was invited to be a guest blogger on an international women's website that launched last week.

Quite literally thousands of women have read my words since we last spoke. I discovered that I have well over 300 pages already written, waiting to be edited. The former editors of Forbes and the Village Voice have volunteered to edit my posts. It is all going so fast!

I just wanted to send this along to let you  know that what i wrote before was not an empty acknowlegement. You took the time to dig in and commune with me to help me refine my magic and use the gift of words that moves through me.

My passion is met with discipline. I write every day. I am writing right now.

So much thanks,

Janine"  July 5, 2010

Sometimes my cynical doubting self sneaks into my head and says "Does coaching really work?  Do people really ever change?  And do you really make a difference anyway, or maybe you are just selling smoke!!!"  It's a vicious voice.  Thank God Janine, reminds me of what true.
